He is thousands of dollars behind in child support payments. Lost or quit a decent-paying job to open his own business. Is it a coincidence that his children who don’t live with him have stopped getting child support? This is a pattern. Throughout her life, he’s only kept jobs short-term. His child support obligations are less than it costs for a good meal out, but he’s stopped paying them, again. Still, he manages to take new wife, new baby, and the stepkids to do things, he’s paying to live in a house, etc Apparently, he somehow managed to get himself a truck and a trailer for his new little business venture, but he’s almost 10k behind in support payments. I don’t know about y’all, but I don’t know of a truck and trailer you can buy for less than 10k. He could have kept working and used that little nest egg to catch up on child support. My little niece deserves a dad who actually support her. I can’t make him into that dad- that’s a choice he’s got to make. But, I can damn well make sure that people know that if they choose his business, they are choosing to support a man who won’t even support his own child.

When you care about people, you take care of them. Even children know that. My great niece is getting to the age where she is going to start asking why he doesn’t pay child support. Children internalize everything. It’s a horrible thing to do to a child.

He is only baby number four with mama number four, that we know about. Since he doesn’t pay for his kids, why should he stop making them?
